The Painesville Railroad Museum hosted its last Model Train Flea Market for the year. The event was held at the Painesville Railroad Museum at 474 Railroad St. in Painesville on Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The event consisted of a garage sale style event where vendors could sell products to the community. Vendors had to pay a $10 fee to set up their stands. Products sold consisted of model trains in ‘G’ Gauge, ‘O’ Gauge, ‘S’ Scale, ‘HO’ scale and ‘N’ scale. Additional household items were sold as well.
Tom Pescha, vice president of the Painesville Railroad Museum, said that not only did vendors bring in objects to sell, but there were also donations made for sale.
“Stuff has been donated to us with the understanding that we’ll be reselling it for operating fees,” he said.
